Five for Friday (except it's Sunday)

Fellow photographer Chelsey comes up with all kinds of creative blog posts - Wordless Wednesday, Thankful Thursday, and now "Five for Friday." I really was planning on joining her this Friday, but it just didn't happen - so rather than putting it off until next Friday, I'll do it today.

I love the fall, but you can't always count on the weather to usher in the autumn season here in NM, so these are my five favorite events that let me know fall is here...

1. Dixon's Apple Farm - nothing brings fall like a drive out to the apple orchard to have a picnic and pick up a wheelbarrow of apples and a jug of apple cider. We went this weekend - here's just one from our trip out...



2. State Fair - my yearly funnel cake dose, Old McDonald's Farm (where my four-year-old loudly asked where the hamburgers were - yep, we're city slickers!)
