When should you get newborn pictures taken? IN THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF LIFE! I know you don't really feel like even getting dressed or showered that soon after having a baby, but that's when babies are sleepy and squishy and yummy (ok, well they're always yummy).
I offer two packages that include newborns: the first is the "baby steps" package which includes maternity and four sessions that can be scheduled at your preference (hopefully one of them being a newborn session!). The second is the "belly-to-baby" package which includes a mini-maternity session and a newborn session.
